Legal status and Constitution

Constitution

-         The documents and forms needed for NGOs' registration have been submitted to the Ministry of Social Affairs for approval and official establishment, after modifying the constitution's articles to comply with the Egyptian regulations of the NGOs, 1 April 2004 – 30 September 2004.

-         The EWP constitution was drafted by the EWP staff, and reviewed by the Initiative Group, April –November 2003.

Registration

-         Final registration of the Egyptian Water Partnership as NGO registered by number 6095 in year 2005, Cairo.

-         Obtaining the registration files and stamping it from the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Logo Design

-         A Contest was held for the Logo design and the winning logo was then modified to become the current logo of EWP, April –November 2003.

Web Site

-         Establishing a semi multilingual Website for the EWP, April –November 2003.

-         Development of the EWP website, November 2005 – January 2006.

The website is under a continuous updating process.
